In this guide, we will display the steps to set up Delivery Management (if you provide a Home Delivery service) via the ePOS Hybrid Admin Panel.
Firstly, log onto your Admin Panel at https://eposhybrid.uk/. Once logged in, select Delivery Management, followed by Home Delivery.

The Home Delivery screen will open, listing all active Delivery Settings, allowing them to be deleted/edited if required, in addition to creating new settings. Click the green
+ Add Delivery Settings button on the top-right corner of the page to create a new setting.
The Home Delivery System screen will appear, allowing you to create a new Home Delivery Setting.
Firstly, enter the Name in the Delivery Setting Name field, followed by the Minimum Bill Amount.
After entering the Minimum Bill Amount, use the relevant checkboxes to specify whether the Delivery Setting is valid for Normal deliveries and/or Pre-Orders.

The Service Area option allows you to choose between Mile Radius or Postcodes for your Delivery Setting.
Firstly, let’s review the process for setting up Delivery Settings via Mile Radius.
After Mile Radius is selected as the Service Area option, the Miles text field will be listed underneath the Service Area buttons. Enter the number of Miles applicable to your Delivery Setting and once entered, the map will show the radius around the business premises.

Next, let’s review the process for setting up Delivery Settings via Postcodes.
Firstly, select the Location option in the Service Area section.

As UK postcodes range up to 9 characters including spaces (for example EH6 6AX or EH14 22JT), your Postcode Comparison Length needs to be set in order to ensure Postcodes are captured appropriately depending on your Delivery Setting and how specific you wish the approved Postcodes to be.
Use the Post Code Comparison Length dropdown box to specify the Comparison Length, using the below breakdown with EH14 22JT as an example Postcode:
- If Comparison Length is 9, then the only accepted postcode is only EH14 22JT
- If Comparison Length is 8, then the accepted postcodes begin with EH14 22J (i.e EH14 22JA, EH14 22JB, etc.)
- If Comparison Length is 7, then the accepted postcodes begin with EH14 22 ( i.e EH14 22AA, EH14 22AB etc )
- If Comparison Length is 6, then the accepted postcodes begin with EH14 2
- If Comparison Length is 5, then the accepted postcodes begin with EH14_ (including the space represented by _)
- If Comparison Length is 4, then the accepted postcodes begin with EH14
- If Comparison Length is 3, then the accepted postcodes begin with EH1
- If Comparison Length is 2, then the accepted postcodes begin with EH.
After specifying the Postcode Comparison Length, enter the relevant postcodes - or postcode parts i.e. EH6 if you wished to accept deliveries to EH6 postcodes - in the Enter Here textbox. Once the Postcode has been entered, click Add to add this Postcode in the below list. Any entered Postcodes can be removed by clicking the red X where required.

After specifying your Delivery Setting Service Area, the final section allows you to specify the applicable Delivery Charges.
Firstly, the Under £ section allows you to specify the applicable charges if a customer’s order comes to a total lower than the Minimum Bill Amount entered at the top of the page. You can select either Free, No Sale, enter a Fixed Amount or enter a Percentage of the Bill as the Delivery Charge in this section, and the same applies if the customer’s order is over the Minimum Bill Amount with the exception of No Sale.
After entering the appropriate Delivery Charges and specifying the Tax Settings - if applicable - for the Delivery Setting, click Save to add your new Delivery Setting.
