A step-by-step guide to creating Mix & Match Promotions on Promotion Management via the ePOS Hybrid Admin Panel
To set up Mix and Match promotions, log onto your Admin Panel at https://www.eposhybrid.uk/. Once you have logged in, select Promotion Management, followed by Mix and Match.
The Mix and Match screen will list your existing promotions and allow you to add any new promotions (screenshot below):
To add a new Mix and Match promotion, select the green Add Mix and Match button on the top right-hand corner of the screen.
Firstly, add the name of the Mix and Match promotion, then use the dropdown in the Select Offer field to specify the offer. If there is not a suitable category, use the green Add Promotion Category button next to the dropdown to add the relevant category - for example, adding BOGOF could be used to categories any Buy One Get One Free promotions.
After selecting the offer category, use the next two dropdowns (Menu Type and Menu Category) to determine which area of your menu the promotion will be placed in.
The next two options - Apply Discount for Low Priced Items and Apply Discount for Modifiers are mandatory Yes/No selections. Selecting No for Apply Discount for Modifiers will ensure customers are still charged the standard price for any modifiers with a supplemental cost, i.e. extra toppings.
In the following Buy section, enter the Quantity of the item or item category to be purchased to qualify for the promotion. Next, search for the item or item category, and click on the chosen selection to add this as a blue box underneath the Quantity field. Repeat the search and add process until you have all necessary items added.
In the Get section, enter the Quantity of items to receive as part of the promotion, using the same method as above to add the items in question.
Next, select whether the item included in the Get section is provided Free, Reduced by a percentage discount or available for a specific monetary value.
The following field is used to select the Duration of the promotion, whether this is available indefinitely using the All Time option or if the promotion is valid during a specific date range using the Between Dates option.
Once you have selected the Duration of the promotion, select the relevant Service Types you wish the promotion to be valid for, unchecking the boxes of any irrelevant options.
Next, if you wish to add an image to the Mix and Match promotion, select the Browse from PC button to upload the image to be visible to customers (if you have images visible on Web/Mobile Ordering or if you have images active on your POS Terminal). Once the image has been uploaded, a preview will be visible.
Once your Mix and Match promotion has been added, go to the Extras section of your ePOS Hybrid Operator App, scroll down and select the Refresh App button to update the app and add your new Mix and Match promotion.
